conformational flexibility, functional divergence, and molecular mimicry
Postdocs
We are looking for a postdoc with interest in joining our iCREATE project. For more information, see description.
Graduate students
We are looking for graduate students with an interest to perform either a mix of bioinformatics/protein evolution and education research or a project focused on evolution of protein structure for their dissertation. For more information contact:
jliberle [AT] fiu.edu
Undergraduate students interested in research
If you are interested in a research internship opportunity, please contact:
jliberle [AT] fiu.edu.
Undergraduate students interested in teaching
If you are interested in becoming a Bioinformatics Ambassador (BA) to assist in teaching bioinformatics to high school biology students, please contact jliberle [AT] fiu.edu.
Please note that for both undergraduate opportunities, Computational Biology of Emerging Infectious Disease (BSC 4450L) is a pre-req. If you are interested in these opportunities but have not taken BSC 4450L, there is still time. These opportunities are part of two 5-year grants that started in 2022.
