We are computational biologists using a combination of bioinformatics, phylogenetics, and protein structure & function analysis to elucidate general mechanisms of protein evolution and specifically of protein functional divergence.

 

By studying the intricate interplay of biophysical factors within and between biomolecules in real-time and on evolutionary time-scales, we contribute to an improved understanding of

genotype-proteotype-phenotype relationships with applications in agriculture, engineering, and

health care.
